So you have “finished” your image using all the skills learned throughout all the classes at Richard Stromberg’s Chicago Photography Classes. You send it off to the printer expecting your image to be as impressive as it looked on the screen and it is just horribly disappointing. Somewhere along the Wi-Fi transmission to the printer the impact was lost. Take this class to get it back. Bring a “finished” file to class and discover how to transform your digital image idea into a physical print reality.
This course focuses on:
- in-class demonstration using adjustment layers for printing
- peer review of images and suggestions for improvement
- importance of a workflow for predictable results
- print demonstration on effects of print adjustment layers
By using student’s own files so that they are familiar with their expectations, students will discover the additional steps needed for a printed image. Each student will have a working knowledge of non-destructive print editing and file management. Students will refine and perfect their decision-making skills for print editing.
