How To Get Your Work Seen - Tips From a Gallerist

Chicago Photography Classes is excited to offer this very informative workshop conducted by Debra Klomp Ching, co-owner of the Klompching Gallery in New York.

The workshop will be divided in two parts:

• May 24th 7-9pm CST: In this online training webinar, Debra Klomp Ching will provide an overview of the various pathways to you and your work being seen by gallery owners/directors/curators. This will be followed by an informative outline of the key assets you need to have ready, should you and your photographs pique the interest of an industry professional. Following the formal presentation, there will be time given for Q&A.
• June 28th 7-9pmCST: In this follow-up webinar, Debra Klomp Ching will provide live critique and feedback on key assets provided by photographers in the audience, as well as providing examples of good practice. Attendees to this webinar will need to have attended the 1st webinar. Following the live critique/feedback, there will be time given for Q&A.

Meet Debra:

Debra Klomp Ching is the co-owner of the Klompching Gallery New York—specializing in the exhibition and sale of contemporary fine art photographs. She is also a freelance consultant working with collectors and photographers, an educator with 25+ years experience in formal programs of study, a regular judge of photography awards, and a respected reviewer at select portfolio review events. In 2020 she launched her now sought-after online training webinars, focusing on the creative and business side of making/exhibiting/selling fine art photographs. She is the co-founder of the Fresh Annual Photography Exhibition and the Rhonda Wilson Award.
