Old Car City Photo Trip

DESCRIPTION
Travel to Old Car City, Georgia with photographer/Educator Danny Howard. It has over 4000 cars on 32 Acres of land. Come visit the amazing cars from the early 1900’s thru to present day!
We will fly to Atlanta, Georgia and transfer to our hotel close to Old Car City in Cartersville. We will have 2 full days to photograph at Old Car City. On the final day before traveling home we will stop at some famous Atlanta Locations. (Old Car City is open Tues-Sat)
THE TRIP:
Day 1 – Depart Chicago and fly to Atlanta. Arrive in the afternoon. We will photograph a location on our way to the hotel
Day 2 – Breakfast at 8am. Leave hotel at 8:45am and head to Old Car City. We will have a quick briefing on arrival of the Do’s & Dont’s, and a close look at the map. Once thru the entrance you will soon realize how large a place this is. Lunch is opposite OCC at a local restaurant “Wes Man’s” right across the street. Leaving at 4pm we will head back to the hotel to download pictures and get ready for our evening meal.
Day 3 – Breakfast at 8am. Leave hotel at 8:45am and head to Old Car City. Today you have the chance to wonder a bit further into OCC. Did you get as far as the lake yesterday? Is there an end in site? Lunch is opposite OCC at a local restaurant “Wes Man’s” right across the street. Leaving at 4pm we will head back to the hotel. We will head back in the city of Atlanta to photograph the skyline from a great location, and have some good local food.
Day 4 – Breakfast at 9am, we will then leave the hotel and drive towards Atlanta. We will make a few stops on the way to shoot at some well known locations. Fly home on a late afternoon early evening flight.
> 2 Days of photography in Old Car City.
($30 entrance fee per day)
> 2/3 of a day shooting in and around Atlanta on the way to the airport
> Full Accommodations at a local hotel in Cartersville – Single Occupancy. (For Double Occupancy please ask for more information)
> Breakfast every morning
> All transportation from hotel to Old Car City and back.
> An itinerary personally planned by Danny Howard
> Every day a full day of shooting with instruction from Danny Howard
What’s not included
> Round Trip Airfare.
> We will provide one ride at a set time from the airport to our accommodation for students (Majority of students will determine the pick up time of arrival at airport)
> Lunch, Dinner, and other personal necessities
> Travel Insurance (Highly Recommended)

Meet Danny:
By day or night I am either a drummer or photographer. Occasionally both. I seem to have a passion for creating things. My love of travel and exploration have been expanded due to being able to work with both my passions. I am prepared to give you my time and effort to create something that we can both be proud of.

> Travel Insurance is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We will make every effort to do our best to be fair, we cannot promise to make full refunds in the event of cancellation due to events beyond our control.
> Travel Itinerary and accommodation subject to change.
> We recommend that you bring at least one (two preferred) external Hard drives on the trip to store photographs daily
> A laptop or computer to make any edits during the trip or to discuss post processing while you are there.
> Upon registration we will send you a complete list of necessities and details for the trip
The cost of the trip to Old Car City is $1500 per person and includes everything listed above.
