What does it take to be a commercial photographer? Whether you are interested in photographing weddings, corporate events, or the family next door, creativity and energy are only the beginning. What sets a successful photographer apart is knowing how imagery is used commercially, how to produce it, and who is willing to pay for it.

DAVID JOEL is a 25-year career corporate photographer whose clientele includes multi-national corporations to local non-profits. This introductory session, which David has conducted many times for RSCPC students, will help you understand how to structure your lifestyle and creative interests to make a living from photography, even part-time. Deciding on your visual niche, developing a passion for it, and discovering who might pay. How do you approach these tasks with an entrepreneurial spirit?
