Each Sunday: A Free 90-minute Workshop/Orientation on use of DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

Basic Camera Overview/Class Orientation, DSLR & Mirrorless Camera Operation, and the Principles of Correct Exposure

This energetic lecture is often imitated but never equaled. This weekly free 90-minute workshop is designed to introduce people to proper exposure using their cameras.

Starting each Sunday at High Noon (12 PM), this 90-minute workshop will keep your attention.  We include Photographic Thinking in all of our programs; the only accent here is on learning.

No camera? No worries! We have more than 12 DSLRs to loan out. And take advantage of our FREE Camera-Buying Service so that when you do buy a camera, you will make an informed decision.

Workshop each Sunday starting at 12:00 PM.
FREE Parking.

If you have a new Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) or Mirrorless camera, need a refresher or have never attended a photography class, you should attend this workshop on Sunday at High Noon.

Or if you are thinking of purchasing a DSLR, Mirrorless or Film (SLR) camera, our experts will help you to understand what is important and what’s not important in cameras with interchangeable lenses. Take advantage of our FREE Camera-Buying Service so that when you do buy a camera, you will make an informed decision. We know where the best prices are in the country, and if you want to save some money and buy a used camera, we know which ones to stay away from.

You will learn basic camera operation: an overview of your camera controls, use of your camera’s exposure meter, and a discussion about which lens is the best value. No worries if you have a film camera because those cameras are covered too.

Be sure to bring a camera, as well as your camera manual if you have one. If you do not have a camera, don’t worry, be happy, a camera will be provided for you to use during the workshop.

Other art center’s try to Impress you with what  they and others have done… We want to Impress – With what we will teach YOU to do 😉

Informative ans hands-on approach that introduces you to your camera. Helped me understand the basics and got me excited enough to enroll in Photo 1. Would definitely recommend!

I have owned my camera for a few years and did not know half of the things shown to me today. The instruction was simple and easy to keep track of. My only request would have been to have a little more visual presentation to go along with the manipulations we were doing with the cameras. This way we could get a better understanding from the perspective of the photos the differences it made.

Very informative and very interactive class. First class is free but worth paying for
