What is Good Color? Pt 2

I used the rainbow for this lesson plan, remember Roy G Biv? Week 4 are the warm colors Red, Orange, and Yellow. Your homework will be to submit images with these colors, and I will go over editing them. We will end by talking about warm black and white images. Week 5 focuses on Green. Week 6 are the colors Blue, Indigo, and Violet. Once again you will need to submit images and I will demonstrate how to process them. We will wrap up with cool black and whites. Once again, all of the editing we will be doing will be in Photoshop.

In the end, you will have a strong foundation of what true color is, how to identify it, and how to edit so that it stays true. If you have taken my printing class, you might have heard me say “You have to know the rules in order to start breaking the rules. You will have the right color from Part One and your methods to adapt them in Part Two. Everything you need to start discovering your style.
