Whether you’re new to town and don’t know where the Crown Fountain is, or perhaps lived here for years and you’re looking for a new spot for your skyline images – there is something here for you.

We have created a series of photography experiences in and around the Chicago area for new and accomplished photographers. Multiple opportunities to work together in the safety of small groups exploring Chicago and capturing images with experienced guides and instructors. There will be opportunities to shoot architecture, landscapes, people, sunsets, light painting, and fireworks.

Our first event to Buckingham Fountain was SOLD OUT.  Our second event will take place Saturday, July 27th, 2019. We will meet in front of the Adler Planetarium @ 7:00pm. From there, we will walk to the Prairie Park on Northerly Island to capture the sunset across the Chicago skyline (weather permitting). We will then move a short distance to a new location that offers a great view of Soldier Field, and the City skyline reflecting over Burnham Harbor. From there, a short walk back to Adler Planetarium for more images of the city skyline across Monroe Harbor, finishing up with a view of the Navy Pier fireworks show starting at 10:15pm. Following the 20 min fireworks show, we will wrap-up with questions and answers regarding processing the images taken during the evening.

I felt like I had won the lottery after the “Nights In The City Workshop on July 6th. Both Neale and Nick were so attentive helping and instructing. I learned more about composition and my own camera than I had learned on my own. I would definitely go on another Workshop. The cost was affordable and yet priceless.

Thank you for your comments, we look forward having you participate in future workshops.

I had a thoroughly fabulous time. I ended my evening having learned a few things, gained a few images. The workshop also prompted further thought into what I like in composition and the tools/techniques that can aid them. I will be back on future dates.

Thank you for your comments! It was a great group and evening, looking forward to many more!
