Water Taxi to Chinatown Tour

Join Gerri Whitley for a Sunday afternoon and evening group MEET-UP in Chicago.  We will explore Chicago, covering a loop from the Water Taxi stop at Michigan Avenue down the river to Ping Tom Park, through Ping Tom Park and into Chinatown.

• Red Line Fare return to Michigan Ave

We’ll board the Water Taxi at Michigan Avenue for the boat ride to Ping Tom Park.  From the river, we get unique perspectives on the city and some of our iconic architecture.  Once we arrive at Ping Tom Park in Chinatown, we’ll go for an early group dinner, then return to the park to explore the gardens and the beautiful city perspectives of Ping Tom Park during golden hour through sunset.  We will return on the Red Line to Michigan Avenue.

Schedule:

• 4:00pm meet at Michigan Ave Water Taxi station
• 4:45pm departure from Michigan Avenue to Chinatown
• 5:20pm arrive Ping Tom Park
• 5:45-6:30 group dinner in Chinatown
• 6:30-8:30pm shoot in Ping Tom and Chinatown
• 9pm optional group return, Red Line to Michigan Avenue area arrive around 9:30pm

Expect to walk 1.5 to 2 miles.
